Celebrity and fashion photographer Uli Weber is to launch a new book at this year’s Goodwood Revival celebrating the historic racing event.
Weber, who has photographed many of the most famous people in the world during his illustrious career, turned his hand to the nostalgia and glamour of Goodwood after first visiting the legendary event in 2012. He was invited back the following year specifically to capture the atmosphere.
Weber said: “Coming to the Goodwood Revival took me back to my roots. It is pure photography and the kind of place where you can capture these magnificent machines looking their best, but also their essence. The event is as much about the people that come along as the cars – it is pure theatre; like going to Venice for the carnival.”
The Goodwood Revival is the world’s biggest event celebrating historic motor racing as well as the vintage lifestyle and clothing.
Weber’s other most recent book, Portraits, includes photos of stars including Kylie Minogue, Bruce Willis, Daniel Radcliffe and Sting. He has also had his work shown in London’s famous Saatchi and V&A Galleries.
Webber’s Goodwood Revival book can be pre-ordered ahead of the September 12-14 event at https://shop.goodwood.com.
