BMWs are a love ’em or hate ’em car, but that’s usually more about the kind of people than the actual cars themselves. In terms of design and general technology, the Germans are hard to beat and BMW are up there with the best of them.
So whether BMW are your cup of tea or not, why not take a few moments to check out these pictures of the new BMW M2 – the latest addition to the BMW M family, and made its debut at the 2016 North American Auto Show.
Part of BMW’s M series, under the hood lies a 3.liter 6-cylinder producing 365hp and 343lb/ft of torque between 1,400 and 5,560rpm.
There’s also an overboost which pushes that up to 369lb/ft between 1,450 and 4,750 rpm (that’s 70lb/ft more than the previous generation M3), allowing an almost blink-and-you’ll miss it 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds and a 155mph top speed.
It will cost from $51,700 and goes on sale in April.
