The Jaguar F-Type SVR is easily going to be one of the most epic releases of 2016. These pictures have just been released and just wait till you hear the stats.
The new F-Type SVR can do 0-63mph in just 3.5 seconds, and the coupe takes the top spot as the fastest Jaguar with a top speed of 200mph.
Under the hood sits a 575hp 5.0liter V8 capable of producing 516lb/ft of torque. But you’ll have to dig deep if you’re going to afford one as the coupe will set you back a cool $125,950 while the convertible version starts at $128,800.
That’s compared to $61,400 and $65,400 respectively for the standard manual model.
It is the first Jaguar to be given the SVR (Special Vehicle Racing) badge, also available on the Range Rover Sport. As well as being more powerful and quicker than the standard F-Type R, it’s also lighter so handling will likely be something else.
The car also has improved aerodynamics thanks to a carbon fiber spoiler at the back and a new front splitter and bumper. The chassis has been taken up a notch as well and it has bigger tires plus updated anti-roll bars and dampers.
Want the even better news? It’s going to sound great too, thanks to a new Inconel Titanium exhaust.
Inside you get a 770W Meridian sound system and touch-screen infotainment, with quilt-stitch 14-way leather SVR seats, and either tan or red leather upholstery.
The Jaguar F-Type SVR is set to go on sale from summer this year and is set to make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
