Lamborghini have revealed some pictures of their new Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo race car.
The track-spec version of the supercar, which will race in the North American, Asian and European series of the 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, made its debut at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
It is based on the road-going Huracan but the Italian firm says it is an “all-new car built from scratch”.
The chassis includes a super-light roll-cage weighing in at just 43kg (95lb), with the frame made out of a carbon/aluminum hybrid.
The car weighs 1,270kg (2,800lb) and features the same V10 engine found on the road car, pumping out 620hp.
The Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo will use Pirelli tires, with the tire firm consulted throughout development.
The car features double wishbone suspension with rigid bushing, and rear Ohlins dampers.
