The first photo of the Ferrari LaFerrari on the road, seen at the manufacturer’s plant in Italy
This is the first picture of the new open-top LaFerrari on the road — captured meandering around the Ferrari plant in Italy.
The Italian firm have been working on the spider version of its iconic supercar for a while now and we’ve already seen promo pictures of it.
But this is the first time it’s actually been snapped out and about. The photo was taken by Tomas Alcazar and posted on his Inavas Fotografias Facebook page.
It shows the car in Ferrari red being driven by a male driver through a part of the Ferrari plant at the manufacturer’s Maranello HQ.
It’s rumored that the new convertible will be called the Aperta, although this is yet to be confirmed. It’s expected to make its official global debut at the Paris Auto Show on September 29.
By the looks of things, the new open-top’s hard-top roof won’t be one that can be stored in the trunk but will rather be one you keep in the garage on a sunny day, with a fabric one in case it starts to rain.
