May we introduce to you the 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S – faster and more powerful than ever before.
Compared to their predecessors, they’re quicker of the mark, have a higher top speed plus and more horses and more torque.
Both have the same 3.8liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. But the Turbo now produces 540hp and the Turbo S 580hp, up 20hp on the models they replace, thanks to modified cylinder head intake ports, better fuel injectors and a higher fuel pressure.
Speeds from 0-60mph have also been improved – albeit by just 0.1second – to 2.9 seconds for the Turbo and 2.8 seconds for the Turbo S.
Top speed is up by 7mph on the S, to 205mph, while the Turbo gets an increase of 2mph to 198mph.
Both models are set to make their debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in January and reach dealers in April.
The 911 Turbo will start at $159,200 four the coupe and $171,500 for the cabriolet, while the Turbo S will cost from $188,100 for the coupe and $200,400 for the cabriolet.
