Nissan have unveiled their 370Z Roadster concept at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.
The company says the on-off concept was created to find out if there is much appetite for an ‘ultimate factory’ Z Roadster.
The Front engine/rear-wheel drive 2-seater features a 3.7 liter V6 that puts out 350 horsepower delivered through a 7-speed auto box with downshift rev matching and a manual paddle shift mode.
The concept also comes with NISMO tuned suspension and a custom carbon-fiber rear spoiler. It rides on 19-inch NISMO super-lightweight forged aluminum-alloy wheels with Y-rated Bridgestone Potenza tires.
Nissan say “While it is only a design study at this point, we think the 370Z NISMO Roaster Concept would be a tremendous addition.”
Current models on the NISMO lineup include the GT-R NISMO, Juke NISMO and Juke NISMO RS.
