McLAREN have released spectacular video of the new McLaren P1 being tasted on a race track built on a frozen lake in the Arctic Circle.
The video sees the $1.3million (£870,000/€1.1million) hybrid supercar roaring and wheel-spinning across the ice, with some particularly impressive slow-motion shots.
The video was shot in northern Sweden, and is part of a series of tests to put the McLaren P1 through some of the toughest conditions on the planet.
It features a 3.8liter V8 twin-turbo petrol engine, and is set to be released in late 2013. Just 375 of them are going to be sold to customers around the world.
The McLaren P1 uses technology from Formula 1 cars and has a top speed of 239mph (385kph). It will be electronically limited for the road to 217mph (349kph).
