The Infiniti Q50 has been named as the best new car to premiere in China at the Shanghai International Auto Show.
The convention’s organisers voted for the vehicle in collaboration with sohu.com, one of the country’s leading news websites.
The Q50 was named because of its ‘fresh design and sporty appearance’ with experts believing it will play a huge role in the new car market in China.
Infiniti recently based their new HQ in Hong Kong as they hope to focus their sales efforts on the economic powerhouse, where 30million new cars will be sold EVERY YEAR within the next decade according to some estimates.
Infiniti China managing director Daniel Kirchert said: “We are honoured and very proud that our new premium Q50 saloon received this much-respected award.”
