The original 1967 Ford Mustang used in the hit Nicolas Cage movie Gone in 60 Seconds is set to be auctioned.
The muscle car, above, known as Eleanor, was used during the film’s key scenes and is the model featured in close-ups, posters and adverts for the film, which also featured Angelina Jolie.
It contains a monster 351/400hp HP Ford crate engine, and was specially-modified to make it look cooler for the film.
Eleanor has a different hood, lights, fender details compared to normal GT500 Mustangs as well as various other body work modifications.
The car, serial number 7R02C179710, will be up for grabs at Mecum’s Original Spring Classic auction in Indianapolis on May 18.
Ray Claridge, owner of Cinema Vehicle Services, said: “Eleanor is one of the most widely recognised movie star muscle cars in the world”.
