The popularity of the F150, in its 13th generation as of 2015, is said to be down to its versatility, value for money and reliability.
In 2014 over 750,000 Ford F150s were sold in the U.S and in 2013 over 100,000 were sold in Canada.
The current model takes its cue from the Ford Atlas concept and saw the pickup lose nearly 750 pounds from its weight through the use of aluminum and high-strength steel.
The 2015 Ford F150 comes with several engine options including a 2.7 L V6 and a 5.0L V8. It has electric power-assisted steering and a 6-speed auto transmission.
