Awesome concepts at Salon Prive

A string of pretty awesome concept cars are set to go on show at this year’s prestigious Salon Privé exhibition. And they’re not a bad looking bunch by any means. They include the $4million rubber-burning Icona Vulcano…

…and the Tauro V8 Spyder…

…like we said, not an ugly bunch. The Vulcano comes from the Netherlands and is the stuff of dreams. With a 950bhp V12 hybrid engine it has a top speed of 220mph and was developed by former Ferrari Formula 1 racing chief Claudio Lombardi. And the stunning Venator is the latest offering from another Dutch firm, Spyker cars. What is it with the Netherlands and super-amazing cars at the moment?!?!

The Ford Evos is also a hybrid, with gullwing doors, and the Tauro V8 Spyder comes from new Spanish car firm Tauro Sport Auto. It has a 6.2liter V8 brute of an engine.

The Salon Privé car exhibition is similar to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, and is set in the grounds of  Syon Park in London, England.  It is the most prestigious of the UK’s car shows.

The cars above will be part of the Concepts and Prototypes exhibition, which will feature alongside 70 sports and luxury super cars and 100 classic car entries to the event.

Boss David Bagley said: “We are adding more and more for our guests to enjoy.”
