Aston Martin has released some details of what they say is the most potent Vantage so far, the Vantage GT3 special edition.
The car, which will be limited to 100 vehicles, comes with the latest version of Aston’s 6.0 liter V12.
The GT3 special edition is lower and wider than the rest of the Vantage line and 100kg lighter than a V12 Vantage S, coming in at 1,565kg.
It also has a track-focussed aerodynamics pack with a large rear wing and front splitter, giving the car greater downforce.
Carbon fibre is used inside and out with front wings and door casings. You can even option in weight saving polycarbonate rear and rear quarter windows. Inside its carbon fibre seats and centre stack. The company says all this carbon fibre and attention to shaving off weight means the Vantage special edition is optimised for performance.
The car will make it’s first public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show, March 3rd.
