The 2016 Honda Civic Coupe is the newest addition to the Civic range, set to hit showrooms in March 2016. Lucky for us, we don’t have to wait until then to enjoy a few pictures.
The 2016 Civic Coupe was unveiled at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show and like its sedan counterpart, comes with a choice of two powertrains, the 2.0liter DOHC i-VTEC or the more powerful 1.5liter DOHC direct-injected turbo, the first ever turbo on a Civic Coupe.
While the 2.0-liter manages 158hp and 138lb/ft of torque, the 1.5liter turbo ups that to 174hp and 162lb/ft of torque. Both of them manage about 35mpg combined.
The Civic Coupe has a lower roofline than its predecessor and seems more compact, despite the room inside actually increasing by 8.4 cubic feet. Rear legroom has also gone up, by more than 5 inches.
The model comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is fitted with Honda’s new Garmin navigation system.
All the models, from the base LX to the top-of-the-line Touring, have an upgraded interior and now come standard with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and automatic on/off headlights, plus automatic climate-control, and an electric parking brake.
