The 2016 Dodge Viper ACR is the fastest street-legal Viper track car in history. It features a massive 8.4liter V10 engine producing a face-gurning 645hp and 600lb/ft of torque, more than any other naturally aspirated sports-car engine on the planet. Its top speed is 177mph, at which point the car experiences an incredible 1 ton of downforce. Dodge say it is the
the ultimate street-legal race car and it’s hard to disagree.
The 2016 Dodge Viper ACR comes with an adjustable carbon-fiber rear spoiler, diffuser, a one-off SRT hood and detachable extension on the front splitter. Inside, you get lightweight carpet interior to keep the weight down, plus three-speaker audio (also to keep down weight) and manual-adjustable seats. But this car isn’t about luxury, it’s about what’s underneath the hood.
You also get 19in specially-designed Kumho Ecsta V720 track-worthy tires, and the look is highly-customizable with 8,000 color options for the exterior, as well as 24,000 stripe colors, 11 options of wheels and 16 different interior trims. There’s also three brake and four suspension and seven different aerodynamic options — meaning buyers have a total of 25 million different ways they can customize the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR.
