Full 2014 Ford F250 price and spec details
The 2014 Ford F250 has a starting price of $30,035 — and with the great line-up of trucks Ford has brought forward this year, nothing meshes quality with performance quite as well as this one.
If you want to get the job done, while still maintaining the feel of a mid-size truck for both leisure and performance, the F250 is probably what you want.
Part of Ford’s Super Duty series, it comes standard with a 6.2liter SOHC Flex Fuel V8 — a powerhouse engine producing 385 horsepower, with 405 lb/ft-torque of towing power. And that’s all while maintaining a steady 15mpg in the city and 18mpg on the highway (around 16mpg combined).
If you are looking for even more performance, you can upgrade the motor to a 6.7liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel. This one pushes 400 horsepower, and provides an amazing 800 lb/ft of torque, while still keeping your average mpg from taking a nose dive.
The F250 can tow up to 14,000 lbs depending on the model, and has a payload capacity of up to 4,240 lbs.
Three different cabs are available: Regular Cab, Super Cab and Crew Cab. And there are five different trim levels: the standard XL, the XLT, the Lariat, the King Ranch and the Platinum. The top-of-the-line model, the Super Duty F250 Platinum, starts at $53,000.
All models come with a six-speed automatic transmission. The number of standard features and accessories, such as navigation system and SiriusXM satellite radio, improves as you move up the range.
But whatever you go for, every F250 comes with the same luxury and quality you would expect from Ford in what is a comfortable five-seater.
The F250 delivers more performance and towing capabilities than that of other models in the 2014 Ford Truck lineup, so whenever it comes to a job the F150 perhaps cannot handle, the F250 is there to deliver.
The car comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty on the body, with a five-year/60,000 mile warranty on the powertrain.
